Pada kesempatan ini, diinformasikan bahwa pada Pertemuan Koordinasi Pengawasan Mutu Benih tanggal 24 s/d 26 Juni 2006 di Hotel Utami Surabaya yang dihadiri oleh petugas dari Direktorat Perbenihan dan Sarana Produksi, Sek Dit Jen Perkebunan, Biro Kepegawaian Dep Pertanian, Inpektorat Jenderal Perkebunan, Tim Penilai Angka Kredit dari Dit Jen Tanaman Pangan, Kepala BP2MB Sumatera Utara, Kepala BP2MB Jawa Timur, Kepala UPTD, Kepala IP2MB dan Pengawas Benih Tanaman telah dibentuk Forum Komunikasi Pengawas Benih Tanaman Perkebunan.
Latar belakang terbentuknya Forum Komunikasi Pengawas Benih Tanaman Perkebunan adalah karena kebutuhan PBT dalam melaksanakan tugas dan fungsinya yang dapat dipenuhi dari sesama PBT, yang antara lain meliputi :
a.Data /informasi/pengalaman antar sesama PBT;b.Koordinasi dan jaringan kerja antar PBT;c.Kerjasama dalam pengawasan benih;d.Wadah pengembangan profesi;e.Dukungan keberadaan PBT;f.Wadah dalam penyampaian aspirasi.
Anggota Forum Komunikasi Pengawas Benih Tanaman Perkebunan adalah Pengawas Benih Tanaman Perkebunan di seluruh Indonesia , Kepala BP2MB Sumatera Utara, Kepala BP2MB Jawa Timur, Kepala UPTD Pengawasan Mutu Benih dan Kepala IP2MB dan Pembina di Direktorat Perbenihan dan Sarana Produksi Dit Jen Perkebunan.
Teman, teman kegiatan Komunikasi Pengawas Benih Tanaman Perkebunan yang diusulkan meliputi :1.Tukar menukar pengalaman dan informasi;2.Komunikasi/meningkatkan arus informasi;3.Kegiatan pengawasan benih terpadu;4.Pertemuan;5.Penerbitan buletin Pengawas Benih Tanaman Perkebunan 2 bulan sekali.
Pada pertemuan tersebut terpilih Ketua Forum Komunikasi Pengawas Benih Tanaman Perkebunan adalah Ir. Tri Lestari ( Pengawas Benih Tanaman Perkebunan Madya) pada Direktorat Perbenihan dan Sarana Produksi.
Langkah pertama dalam kegiatan Forum Komunikasi Pengawas Benih Tanaman Perkebunan adalah menginventarisir anggota seperti terlampir.
Mohon kiranya dapat ditanggapi tulisan tersebut dan mohon kelengkapan data personil Pengawas Benih Tanaman Perkebunan.
